Been painting

These abstracts are based on parenting, how scattered I often feel, and my newest projectland obsession: scents and the study of perfume. When I'm working on these paintings which vary in size from 4' X 4' to 12" X 12", I get totally lost in the pleasure of painting. I invariably look up at the clock, realize I have to jump in the car to pick up the kids RIGHT NOW, so brushes get thrown into ball jars of water and I rush off leaving these canvasses to drip and dry. As you can see, I love color. I've tried to tone it down, but I can't seem to, so for now, I'm going with it.
